Mystery on the Lake - iTheatre website A new adventure in interactive theatre! You aren’t just the audience, you’re in the show! Stroll through picturesque Niagara-on-the-Lake for this memorable 2.5 hour show as you discover new places, and work with fellow audience members to solve historical puzzles and have fun interacting with unusual characters played by actors, as you are caught up into an historic plot of mystery and intrigue. You will be walking about 3km (1.9 miles) with frequent stops, so dress appropriately. Admission to two of the town's premiere historic attractions is included in your ticket price! Shaw Festival John Simon of New York Magazine calls the Shaw Festival the "best repertory theatre on the continent". The Shaw Festival remains the only theatre group celebrating the works of George Bernard Shaw and his contemporaries. About adozen different plays are offered each year. The quality and the selection of plays will help you decide that a visit to Niagara-on-the-Lake should be an annual event. The flagship theatre for the Festival is The Shaw Festival Theatre. This 869-seat theatre is where large-scale productions are presented.
Courthouse Theatre A national historic site dating from the 1840s, The Court House Theatre is where the Shaw Festival began in 1962. The theatre has 327 seats.
Royal George Theatre Built as a vaudeville house to entertain the troops during World War I, The Royal George Theatre presents a modest exterior, but inside it's all Edwardian gilt moldings, red walls and golden lions. It has 328 seats.
